Thanksgiving is over and it’s back to work…

We know your bellies are probably still bursting with turkey from last week, but the kanji never stops! We had a bunch of new radicals this week and the highest stroke count yet: 18 strokes! Doesn’t seem like kanji will get any easier when we graduate to the 5th grade in just two weeks!!

This week we also learned 訓: the kanji for…Japanese kanji reading! Of course the kanji for kanji readings has many different readings.

Remember that using our printable writing sheets is the best way to commit every kanji to memory and writing is proven to help increase retention! You can download the sheet here if you’re a premium member:

Week 29: Jōyō Kanji Challenge Printable Writing Sheet

You can also add all the kanji every week to your drills (or just the ones you’re struggling with) so you will keep getting drilled until you master them!
